At least 15 people injured in massive Bronx fire

Several people were injured in a raging Bronx fire Thursday night.

Firefighters have removed at least 15 people from the five-story building on Prospect Ave. at E. 187th St. in Belmont, an FDNY spokesman said.

The fire broke out at 6:51 p.m. on the building’s third-floor and quickly spread. Smoke eaters were battling cold and icy conditions as they fought the flames, the spokesman said.
