A car plowed into a Starbucks coffee shop in North Hollywood Thursday, with early reports indicating that seven people were injured.
The car crashed into the Starbucks on the 12900 block of Victory Boulevard at Coldwater Canyon Avenue after a two-vehicle traffic accident, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. It happened following a two car traffic collision at a nearby intersection, said LAFD spokeswoman Amy Bastman.
Three amubulances took an unknown number of patients to a local hospital, she said. Several people were being evaluated at the scene, authorities added.
The car that crashed into the coffee shop was a Chevrolet Cruze sedan that came to rest inside the structure’s northwest side, on Victory Boulevard, according to reports from the scene.
More to come.
